Behind the Scenes: Finissage Tour & Apéro

Photoforum Pasquart

Date & time

31 August 2025

16:00–17:30

Venue

Photoforum Pasquart

On the very last day of our exhibitions “Olvidamos cómo contemplar la madre tierra” by Naara Bahler and “Tactics and Mythologies” by Andrea Orejarena & Caleb Stein, we invite you to a special Swiss Photomonth tour that goes beyond the ordinary. These two shows delve into distinct yet interconnected questions in contemporary photography: one unpacks the myths and disinformation shaping our digital age, the other invites us to slow down and reconsider our bond with the natural world.

This tour offers two complementary perspectives: Amelie Schüle (director & curator Photoforum) will share behind-the-scenes insights into the making of the exhibitions and what it means to present such projects at Photoforum. Gonzague Rebetez (mediator Photoforum and chemist) will dive into the material and technical side, exploring everything from the chemical magic of cyanotype to the coded structures of AI images. Join us for a dynamic look at contemporary photography from artistic vision to tangible process.

The tour is offered in German and French.
