With NOUS SOMMES LES RÊVEURS, Sandra Piretti unfolds a photographic tale where myth, the unconscious, and primal vitality converge. She invites the viewer to embark on an inner journey, reconnecting with their own sense of mystery and fragile beauty.

From the damp lands of the Jura and the Allondon plain, she sketches a dreamlike vision of the world where bodies barely touch the earth and symbols emerge from the depths of the soul.

Carried by the sensitive materiality of analog photography, the series explores the thin boundary between visible and invisible, between beauty and unease. The photographer’s visual writing, poetic and resolutely subjective, gives rise to meticulously composed scenes blending pure presences, animal apparitions, and natural traces. Chimerical figures emerge, where the tangible world brushes against phantasmagorical landscapes.

Sometimes blurred or off-centered, always inhabited, the moments captured by Sandra Piretti seem suspended out of time, at the edge of physical reality and inner visions. Haunted by a pagan culture and a collective spiritual heritage, the series blurs the lines, imposing neither narrative nor interpretation.
