Join us for an artist talk with Thi My Lien Nguyen and curator Nadia Veronese on 7th September 2024, 19.00 at Kunstmuseum St. Gallen.
The talk will be held in German.

Swiss-Vietnamese artist Thi My Lien Nguyen (b. 1995, St. Gallen) explores themes of home, belonging, and the experience of foreignness in her work. Her practice delves into post-migrant realities, traditions, rituals, folklore, and customs from diverse cultural perspectives. For her project Shaping Fluidity at Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, Nguyen creates a unique environment that intertwines photography with culinary experiences. This installation, which includes a pop-up café, showcases various photographic works that continue her exploration of invisibility, visibility, and the relationship between food and identity.
