Schwamendingen – une banlieue de Zurich – est invitée au centre de Zürich à la Kunsthalle Zürich. On peut y voir un triomphe, la revanche de l’agglomération ou le cours normal de l’histoire. C’est à l’artiste Ruth Erdt, qui photographie Schwamendingen depuis près de 20 ans, que l’on doit cette évolution. Elle a pris plus de 60 000 photos depuis 2006, ce qui a donné lieu à une étude à long terme qui retrace les changements d’un tel lieu.
