After 3 outstanding editions in the Vallée de La Brévine, Alt+1000 is back on the road. The festival will take up residence from 13 September to 5 October 2025 at La Vue-des-Alpes,.
Camminare insieme – walking together: the theme of the 8th edition of the Alt+1000 photography festival sounds like an invitation to experience the landscape differently – through movement, encounters and observation!
This year’s festival will be showcasing a diversity of perspectives, with 18 Swiss and international artists and over 140 works of art. The artists, from different generations and linguistic regions, and using a variety of photographic approaches, are putting forward a collective reflection on the landscape. How do we perceive it? How do we pass through it, inhabit it? The landscape becomes a trajectory, a path to travel, a space of movement that mobilises the body and awakens the eye.
Designed for a wide audience, the trail offers an open-air, sensitive and collective artistic experience – where art and landscape meet in the rhythm of walking.
Enough talk: put on your trainers, open your eyes wide – and let yourself be carried away by three weeks of outdoor art!
