This year, the MAZ Photo Day is all about flash. Aimed at professional photographers and all those with solid experience in photography, it offers a mix of practical insights, exercises and theoretical input. The aim is to improve your own flash skills during an intensive day in order to become more confident in dealing with artificial light and to use flash more skilfully from now on.
The workshop will be held in German.
The day will cover flash in photo reportage as well as studio setups. In both genres, you will look over the shoulders of other professionals and benefit from their knowledge and years of experience. In addition, you will gain an insight into the basics of light planning on the computer and have the opportunity to test Profoto flashes and light shapers. Profoto is accompanying the conference as a partner.
Speakers include the renowned reportage photographer Andri Pol and the internationally active photographer Ellin Anderegg, as well as Anne Manke, a portrait photographer who leaves nothing to chance when it comes to lighting.
The day will conclude with an aperitif where there will be time to exchange ideas with others from the industry.
