POSITION extended CA X NICElabs
BA Camera Arts è lieta di invitarvi a una conferenza performativa (in inglese) dell’artista visiva svizzera Flurina Rothenberger e della graphic designer Rahel Arnold / NICElabs. L’evento si svolge presso la Lucerne University of Arts and Design e può essere seguito anche su Zoom.
NICElabs è un progetto editoriale e uno spazio per lo scambio di conoscenze e l’apprendimento reciproco. Per ogni nuovo numero, giovani creativi provenienti da diversi settori si riuniscono in una città africana per formare un collettivo editoriale e di apprendimento. Discutono di argomenti, prospettive ed esperienze e, guidati da mentori, traducono le loro idee in parole e immagini, trasformando il processo di pubblicazione in uno sforzo collaborativo.
Le fondatrici Flurina Rothenberger e Rahel Arnold presenteranno i processi transculturali di apprendimento, creazione e produzione alla base di NICElabs, con particolare attenzione all’ultima edizione che si terrà a Nairobi nell’estate del 2024. La conferenza performativa sarà simultaneamente estesa a diverse città africane, da dove i partecipanti ai progetti NICElabs passati si uniranno per condividere le loro esperienze e affrontare temi rilevanti della loro creazione transculturale.
La conferenza si terrà in inglese e potrà essere seguita anche su Zoom.
